Especificamente para a comunidade artística, é possível perceber uma competição de visibilidade de conteúdos e uma predominância de redes sociais com objetivos majoritariamente relacionadas à carreira profissional. Diante disso, em uma abordagem de design centrada no usuário, este estudo teve por objetivo encontrar contribuições que auxiliem no design de redes sociais direcionadas a artistas, a partir da compreensão da experiência do usuário com este tipo de interface. Para isso, realizou-se um levantamento de campo que permitiu identificar as redes sociais mais utilizadas pelos artistas, assim como seus objetivos, necessidades, carências, preocupações e emoções no uso destas; além dos aspectos que formam seu senso como comunidade.
