Foi realizado estudo bibliográfico para investigar a interseção entre acessibilidade digital e ergonomia cognitiva. Apesar da escassez de publicações centradas em acessibilidade digital na perspectiva da ergonomia cognitiva, evidencia-se uma forte relação entre essa disciplina e o design, principalmente na perspectiva da experiência do usuário final.
