Taking the murders of George Floyd and João Alberto Freitas as a time frame, data related to black representation were collected in the following categories: (1) number of newspaper covers in which there is black representation between February and December 2019 (approximately one year before George Floyd's death); (2) number of representative newspaper covers between April 25 and June 25, 2020 (one month before and one month after Floyd's murder); and (3) number of representative magazine covers two months before and two months after Floyd's death. Tendo como marco temporal os assassinatos de George Floyd e João Alberto Freitas, foram levantados dados relacionados à representatividade negra nas seguintes categorias: (1) quantidade de capas de jornais em que há representatividade negra entre os meses de fevereiro e dezembro de 2019 (aproximadamente um ano anterior a morte de George Floyd); (2) quantidade de capas de jornais representativas entre 25 de abril e 25 de junho de 2020 (um mês anterior e um mês posterior ao assassinato de Floyd); e (3) quantidade de capas de revistas representativas dois meses anteriores e dois meses posteriores à morte de Floyd.
