No desenvolvimento de evidências para orientar políticas públicas, os rótulos precisam ser avaliados sobre produtos fictícios para controlar variáveis gráficas. O método DIARNFA é específico para desenvolver mock-ups, mas ainda não foi testado na prática por outros designers. Este artigo propõe um piloto e desenvolvimento de protocolo para avaliação de usabilidade das ferramentas e primeiras etapas do método DIARNFA, com participação de três estudantes de design gráfico desenvolvendo mock-ups para estudos de eficácia comunicacional de rótulos de advertência nutricional. Foram desenvolvidos 84 mock-ups. Os resultados sugerem boa usabilidade do método, mas dificuldades de entendimento e complexidade.
