The standard techniques for such a process in Virtual Environments (VEs) may provide a negative experience that demotivates—or even excludes—a Person with Disabilities (PwD) in upper limbs due to lack of accessibility. Therefore, this paper aims to present a systematic literature review of studies that present alternative text input techniques characterized as assistive technologies or that feature an inclusive design for PwDs in upper limbs.
