Therefore, the main objective of this study was, through a systematic review of the specialized literature, to explore the potential of service design in the generation of health innovations. Thirteen articles were selected for analysis, which proposed new services and reformulation of existing services, considering general and specific service needs, as well as users' needs. Most research has focused innovation on proposing different views from those commonly exercised in services, with the expansion of user involvement. Foram selecionados 13 artigos para análise, que propuseram serviços novos e reformulação de serviços existentes, considerando necessidades gerais e específicas dos serviços, bem como dos usuários. A maioria das pesquisas concentrou a inovação na proposição de visões diferentes das exercidas comumente nos serviços, com a ampliação do envolvimento dos usuários.
