Ao mesmo tempo, o uso de técnicas bibliométricas tem sido frequente no auxílio ao entendimento de novas temáticas, auxiliando inclusive na identificação de tendências de pesquisas futuras. Assim, o objetivo deste artigo é identificar, por meio de uma análise bibliométrica de artigos indexados na base de dados Web of Science, os aspectos relevantes na produção científica na área de transformação digital e definir as tendências para as principais áreas de pesquisa relacionadas ao tema.
