Because the old checkout imposed an overload on the operators, mainly because the standing posture and the handling of loads during the packaging and demagnetization of goods, a new checkout was designed to reduce this overload. A ilha antiga exigia trabalho de pé e manuseio de peso na operação de ensacolamento de produto e desmagnetização da sacola e para permitir a alternância de postura foi projetada, com a participação dos operadores, uma ilha nova que também eliminava a operação de desmagnetização da sacola.
