The University is a “granary” of cultural and technological knowledgement directed toward the social demands. When the university product is able of application, there is, in it, an activity of extension. This Project is an extension activity of the Course of Industrial Design of the Universidade Federal of Campina Grande, that saw the necessity of diversify the knowledgement in Elementary School. For the cause, was offered basic knowledgement about Industrial Design, through Thematic Workshops (bookbinding, slight knowledge of drawing, techniques of creativity, use of color etc.), aiming at to awake and to direct latent vocations. The Project was developed in the Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental São Clemente, located at the District of São José da Mata, City of Campina Grande-PB. This activity took care of 30 children, in its majority, deriving students of the agricultural zone. The experience brought satisfaction for both of the parts, students and people who were orientating. In the “heat” of the classes, was able to discover skills in drawing, transformation into marble, bookbinding, creativity, and others.
