Resumo

Haja vista que alguns produtos são destinados ao uso por milhares de usuários finais, qual a quantidade adequada de usuários avaliando os mesmos? Um baixo nível de confiança na avaliação pode invalidá-la uma vez que não representa consistentemente a opinião dos usuários finais. Para esta verificação utilizou-se simulações de avaliação de usabilidade de websites e métodos estatísticos. Auxiliando, extensivamente, designers de diversas linhas projetuais a embasar cientificamente a quantidade de usuários que testam seus protótipos.

Abstract

Considering that some products are intended for use by thousands of end users, what the appropriate amount of users evaluating the same? A low level of confidence in the evaluation may invalidate it since it does not consistently represent the views of end users. To check this, we used simulations to evaluate usability of websites and statistical methods. Helping extensively, designers of several lines to projective scientifically support the amount of users who tested their prototypes.
