Resumo

Avanços tecnológicos permitiram a evolução em várias fases do processo de produção gráfica. Atualmente existe uma grande variedade de dispositivos que aliado ao uso de aplicativos possibilitou uma explosão na reprodução em cores. Designers fazem uso dessa variedade de ferramentas que interpretam e reproduzem cores de forma particular fazendo com que as cores de uma imagem apareçam diferentes de um equipamento para o outro. A necessidade de se gerenciar as cores torna-se algo indispensável para a automatização e racionalização das etapas de produção. Acredita-se que isso seja algo difícil, por isso, esse trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a filosofia do gerenciamento de cores baseado no ICC – Consórcio Internacional da Cor, bem como os elementos que o compõe e suas respectivas funções.

Abstract

Technological advances had allowed the evolution in some phases of the process of graphical production. Currently a great variety of devices exists that allies to the use of applicatory make possible an explosion in the reproduction in colors. Designers makes use of this variety of tools that interpret and reproduce colors of particular form making with that the colors of an image appear different of an equipment for the other. The necessity of if managing the colors something indispensable for the automatization and rationalization becomes them stages of production. It is given credit that this is something difficult, therefore, this work has as objective to present the philosophy of the color management based in ICC - the International Color Consortium, as well as the elements composes that it and its respective functions.
