Resumo

Este artigo investiga formas de abordar as questões de gênero na educação em design, com foco em estratégias que fomentem reflexões críticas. A pesquisa explora como os feminismos contribuem para a prática e o ensino do design, identificando estereótipos de gênero presentes em projetos de produtos e propondo ferramentas didáticas para promover uma abordagem mais inclusiva. A metodologia envolve revisão de literatura e análise de ferramentas existentes para o desenvolvimento preliminar de um kit pedagógico para aplicação em projetos de produto. Espera-se que este trabalho contribua para a circulação de um repertório de ferramentas didáticas visando uma educação em design mais consciente e sensível às questões de gênero.

Abstract

This article investigates ways to address gender issues in design education, focusing on inclusive practices and critical reflections. The research explores how feminisms contribute to the practice and teaching of design, identifying gender stereotypes present in product designs and proposing teaching tools to promote a more inclusive approach. The methodology involves literature review and analysis of existing tools for the preliminary development of a pedagogical kit for application in product projects. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the circulation of a repertoire of teaching tools aimed at a design education that is more conscious and sensitive to gender issues.
