Resumo

O presente artigo visa repassar e contextualizar o impacto socioeconômico provocado pela proibição das sacolas plásticas em todo mundo e a forma como Municípios brasileiros têm legislado sobre o tema. O estudo pretende, ainda, apontar falhas de concepção e na implementação destas leis e contra argumentar os reais motivos destas intervenções, prevendo caminhos para oportunidades no campo do design e no desenvolvimento de novos produtos no transporte pessoal de objetos.

Abstract

The present article aims to review and contextualize the socioeconomic impact caused by the prohibition of plastic bags around the world and the way brazilian cities have been treating this subject. This research also intends to point out flaws in the conception and in the implementation of these laws and argue about the actual motivation of this interventions, predicting paths to new oportunities in the design field, improving the knowledge in development of new products for transportation of personal belongings.
