Resumo
Neste artigo, são apresentados os resultados de uma pesquisa histórica que investiga a origem dos quadros uniformes das histórias em quadrinhos, incluindo as relações com molduras de pinturas, artes seqüenciais do passado e as primeiras manifestações das histórias em quadrinhos como linguagem estabelecida no começo do século XX.

Abstract
In this article, the results of a historical research that investigates the origin of uniform panels from comic-books are presented, including paintings frames, sequential arts from the past and the first comic-book manifestations as an established language in the beginning of the nineteenth century .
