Resumo

Este estudo tem como objetivo principal investigar a aplicação de princípios de design sustentável na moda autoral recifense, com foco em marcas locais que adotam práticas de upcycling e reciclagem. O estudo busca analisar como essas práticas contribuem para a sustentabilidade ambiental, social e econômica, promovendo a inovação e competitividade no mercado. A metodologia inclui análise de dados qualitativos e quantitativos, entrevistas com stakeholders e revisão de literatura. Os resultados indicam que a implementação do design sustentável não só reduz impactos ambientais, mas também promove inovação e competitividade no mercado.

Abstract

This study primarily aims to investigate the application of sustainable design principles in Recife's independent fashion sector, focusing on local brands that adopt upcycling and recycling practices. The study seeks to analyze how these practices contribute to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, promoting innovation and competitiveness in the market. The methodology includes qualitative and quantitative data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and a literature review. The results indicate that the implementation of sustainable design not only reduces environmental impacts but also fosters innovation and competitiveness in the market.
