Resumo

Este artigo apresenta uma conceitualização a partir de uma investigação sobre este instrumento de pensamento visual denominado Registro Gráfico. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, coleta de dados com especialistas e usuários participantes das sessões onde são construídos tais registros, os esforços de pesquisa se concentram, em partes, estabelecer contornos conceituais claros para esta técnica que propõe transformar estímulos auditivos em representações visuais feitas à mão, em tempo real, no decurso de atividades realizadas entre duas ou mais pessoas. Apresentando-se ora como conceito, ora como atividade, método, técnica e ferramenta, ao reunir descrições a seu respeito, foi possível observá-lo em cada um dos seus aspectos e estabelecer limites entre técnicas correlatas e observar os contextos e finalidades de sua aplicação.

Abstract

This article presents part of the original findings from an investigation into a visual thinking tool known as Graphic Recording. Through literature review, data collection from experts, and participants in sessions where these recordings are created, the research efforts aim to establish clear conceptual boundaries for this technique, which transforms auditory stimuli into hand-drawn visual representations in real-time during activities involving two or more people. By presenting itself alternately as a concept, activity, method, technique, and tool, and by gathering descriptions about it, it was possible to observe it in each of its aspects, establish limits between related techniques and observe the contexts and purposes of its application.
