Abstract
The goal of the present work was to identify the boundaries and distinguish the contents of the recent research area of Design Management. The DMI website was used to obtain the abstracts published in Design Management Review. The list of search items of the website was taken as the standpoint of DMI regarding the breakdown of Design Management into specific areas. The analysis of the abstracts helped understanding the meaning of the different areas. The results were correlated with the Cooper & Press design audit model (1995).
Keywords:design management, design management research areas
