Resumo

A tendência de envelhecimento populacional torna ainda mais necessária uma abordagem de promoção à saúde e prevenção de doenças, que podem ser incentivadas por meio da educação em saúde. No contexto atual, a transformação digital oferece oportunidade para ampliar o acesso à informação. Entretanto, idosos podem apresentar baixa compreensão das informações sobre saúde, devido a deficiências na visão e audição, declínio cognitivo ou baixa escolaridade. O objetivo deste estudo é explorar as barreiras e facilitadores do uso de artefatos audiovisuais para educação em saúde de idosos, a partir da abordagem do design inclusivo. Através de uma revisão narrativa da literatura, foram estabelecidos parâmetros para um design audiovisual inclusivo e eficiente, que possa contribuir para auxiliar a inserção do público idoso à saúde digital.

Abstract

The trend of population ageing makes an approach to health promotion and disease prevention even more necessary, which can be encouraged through health education. In the current context, digital transformation offers an opportunity to expand access to information. However, older adults may have a flawed understanding of health information due to vision and hearing impairments, cognitive decline or low education. The objective of this study is to explore the barriers and facilitators of the use of audiovisual artefacts for health education for the elderly from an inclusive design approach. Through a narrative review of the literature, parameters were established for an inclusive and efficient audiovisual design, that can assist the insertion of the elderly public into digital health.
