Resumo

Este artigo consiste em um estudo exploratório a respeito da gestão de design e das cidades inteligentes. As cidades passam por transformações decorrentes do aumento populacional, afetando na organização dos fluxos e acesso aos serviços. A demanda por soluções aos problemas urbanos impulsiona pesquisas. Nesse contexto, surge o questionamento sobre como se apresenta o cenário da pesquisa quanto ao tema gestão de design e smart city. As Smart Cities, ganham destaque, especialmente, a projetos e inovações que buscam promover a qualidade de vida no meio urbano. A gestão de design pode contribuir para a definição estratégica da inteligência das cidades. O artigo objetiva identificar abordagens recentes, no sentido de explorar o campo teórico. Utiliza como método a pesquisa qualitativa por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica narrativa da literatura. Os resultados possibilitam a visualização do cenário e indicam ênfases, com destaque ao sistema de transporte urbano e as TICs.

Abstract

This article presents an exploratory research about design management and smart cities. Cities undergo changes due to population growth, affecting the organization of flows and access to services. Demand for solutions to urban problems drivespresent research. In this context, the question that lead this study is relatade to the present research scenario regarding design management and smart city fields. Smart Cities are especially highlighted by projects and innovations that seek to promote the quality of life in urban areas. Design management can contribute to the strategic definition of city intelligence. The article aims to identify recent approaches in order to explore these theoretical fields. It uses a qualitative research through the bibliographical research narrative of the literature. The results allow the visualization of the scenario and indicate emphases, on the urban transportation system and TICs.
