Resumo

A sociedade está se modificando, a população está vivendo mais e as preocupações ambientais estão aumentando. Mudanças nas formas de habitar repercutem na Arquitetura e no Design, onde o ser humano deve ser visto individualmente e espaços e produtos devem ser pensados a um maior número de pessoas possíveis. O ato de projetar, seja um produto ou um espaço físico, deve suprir necessidades flexibilizando soluções para englobar mais pessoas. O presente artigo é uma breve mirada sobre as mudanças na sociedade, o papel do arquiteto e do designer dentro desta e quais são os rumos da Arquitetura e do Design.

Abstract

The society is changing, people are living longer and the environmental concerns are increasing. Changes in ways of living affects in Architecture and Design, where the human being must to be viewed individually and the spaces and products should be designed for a larger number of people as possible. The act of designing, is a product or a physical space, needs flexible solutions to encompass more people. This article is a brief look at changes in society, the role of architect and designer within this and what are the directions of Architecture and Design.
