Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma capa para próteses de membros inferiores, com utilizando tecnologias digitais como digitalização tridimensional e Manufatura Aditiva. Inicialmente foi realizado o escaneamento do membro inferior e a partir da superfície obtida realizou-se o projeto da capa. Seus componentes foram impressos e testados. A pesquisa mostrou que os preços das capas comercialmente disponíveis podem ser proibitivos e este projeto pode ser uma alternativa de menor custo, disponibilizando-se o projeto online para o usuário fabricar conforme suas especificações, futuramente. Entretanto, ainda é necessário investigar a redução da massa do produto assim como alternativas para fixação da capa na prótese.

Abstract

This work presents the development of a cover for lower limb prostheses using digital technologies such as three-dimensional scanning and Additive Manufacturing. Initially, the lower limb was scanned, and based on the obtained surface, the cover was designed. The components were then printed and tested.
