Abstract

Bodystorming is a generative, dynamic, improvisational ideation method that focuses on the ideation phase of the design process. This article delimits the study of this method in the field of interaction design, a design activity that aims to create spaces for human interaction. The research aims to answer how bodystorming can suggest different procedures for interaction design. For this investigation, an integrative systematic literature review with a technical procedure was used. The review culminates in 17 documents extracted from three databases: ACM Digital, Scopus and Web of Science. Data analysis and interpretation led to the establishment of three themes. The first theme refers to variations of bodystorming in Human-Computer Interaction. The second involves a discussion of the embodied approach to the method. The last theme identifies the body, space and objects as design resources in the bodystorming activity.
