Resumo

Este estudo tem como objetivo investigar as principais barreiras de acessibilidade digital e relacioná-las às WCAG 2.2, aplicando os princípios do Design de Informação e Infografia na construção de artefato capaz de disseminar a acessibilidade digital. Foi realizada revisão de literatura nas áreas de Acessibilidade Digital, WCAG, Design de Informação e Infografia. Além disso, foram identificadas barreiras de acessibilidade recorrentes na web e selecionados os critérios de sucesso da WCAG que dizem respeito a essas barreiras. A partir disso, considerando as boas práticas e métodos de infografia, foi construído infográfico em formato PDF com recomendações de acessibilidade que possam ser utilizadas como ferramenta por profissionais responsáveis por produtos e serviços digitais. O estudo se justifica na potencialidade que outras aplicações possuem para impactar a acessibilidade digital, que ao longo dos anos, enfrenta as mesmas barreiras e avança a passos lentos.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the primary obstacles to digital accessibility and correlate them with WCAG 2.2, employing the principles of Information Design and Infographics in crafting an artifact capable of promoting digital accessibility. A literature review was conducted in the realms of Digital Accessibility, WCAG, Information Design and Infographics. Additionally, recurrent accessibility barriers were chosen. Based on this, considering best practices and methods of infographics, an infographic was created in Portable Document Format (PDF) with accessibility recommendations that can serve as a tool for professionals overseeing digital products and services. The study is justified by the potential for other applications to impact digital accessibility, which, over the years, has faced the same barriers and progressed at a slow pace.
