Resumo

Este artigo apresenta uma revisão do estado da arte na literatura sobre as relações entre a atmosfera do ponto de venda, o projeto de lighting design e a sua influência no comportamento do consumidor a partir da constatação da necessidade de embasamento teórico para futuras pesquisas mais direcionadas à influência das novas tecnologias de iluminação no comportamento de consumo dentro de pontos de venda. A metodologia utilizada foi a de revisão através de pesquisa em livros e artigos em periódicos nacionais e internacionais através de meta buscas com palavras chave como iluminação, comportamento de consumidor e atmosfera de pontos de venda.

Abstract

This paper presents a literature review regarding to lighting design of retail spaces and its influence on consumer behavior to serve as a theoretical basis for future research focused on new lighting technology and consumer's behavior on retail stores. The methodology included review on books and articles found in national and international literature, using meta searches with keywords such as lighting design, consumer behavior and retail spaces atmosphere.
