Resumo

Este artigo relata o estudo de caso do desenvolvimento do Portal Virtual do Museu Virtual do Sintetizador (MVS), de forma a explicitar contribuições do processo de gestão de projetos e do design à melhoria de eficiência e eficácia de uma pesquisa acadêmica. Inicia-se com a fundamentação teórica, definindo e relacionando os papéis do gestor do design e do gestor do projeto. Em seguida, analisa-se mais detalhadamente o estudo de caso e as funções do gestor do design, suas atribuições e responsabilidades. Examina-se ainda, o processo de criação dos produtos de identidade visual, de diretrizes voltadas ao Portal Virtual, até a finalização do projeto com a publicação e apresentação ao público do MVS. Finaliza-se traçando um paralelo entre o processo de gestão de projetos com o de criação e desenvolvimento do produto final.

Abstract

This article reports a case study of the development of the Virtual Museum of Synthesizer (MVS) Web Site, in order to clarify the contributions of project management and process design to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of academic research. It begins with a theoretical basis, which justifies the conduction of this research through the analysis of post - mortem case study data. Then, we analyze in more detail the work of the manager during the design process , their roles and responsibilities . Furthermore it examines the process of creating product branding, guidelines aimed at virtual web site, until the completion of the project with the publication and presentation to the public of the MVS. Ends up drawing a parallel between the process of project management to the creation and development of the final product.
