Resumo

Neste artigo pretendemos abordar o universo cromático presente na joalheria contemporânea, através de uma seleção de 11 joalheiros significativos do segmento no cenário internacional. A seleção, em bibliografia especializada, de alguns de seus trabalhos desenvolvidos no período entre 1940 a 2000, permite estudar o assunto e compreender a informação cromática na jóia, identificando os elementos que configuram a cor nesse objeto. Uma análise comparativa aponta ainda semelhanças e diferenças entre eles no uso da cromia como linguagem.

Abstract

We intend to approach in this article the chromatic universe found in contemporary jewelry making, based on the selection of 11 significant jewelers in the segment in the international scenario. The selection, in a special bibliography of some of their works developed over the 1940 to 2000 period enables a study of the subject and understanding of chromatic jewel information, identifying the elements that comprise the color of this object. A comparative analysis also identifies similarities and differences between them in the use of color as a language.
